Jake has started on varsity for the last three years. He was part of the 2008 and 2009 CCS champion Los Gatos Wildcats team.

- Jake has been a starter for the Varsity Los Gatos Wildcats for the last three years.
- 2007 - Jake was the starting Varsity Free Safety in his sophomore year
- 2008 - Season highlight: CCS Medium School Varsity Championship game. Jake put Los Gatos back into the game with a 79-yard pass reception from Nick Hirschman.
- Los Gatos ended the game with a come from behind victory 29-23.
